Who owns Ocean Pacific Patios
Ocean Pacific Patios is owned by John Haynes and built by T. Ybarra Construction, the name you see in our logo. The company is based at 566 Sturgeon Dr in Costa Mesa.
Each project moves through five stages. Knowing them up front helps you plan your time, your budget and your backyard.

1. Measure
Every project starts at your home. We measure the patio, note where the house wall, roof eaves, doors and windows sit, and look at the ground where posts will go. We also ask how you use the space: dining, lounging, cooking or a mix.
Good measurements decide a lot later on, from post spacing to how a cover ties into your roof line. That is why we do this step in person.

2. Design
Next we turn your goals into a design. You choose the structure (patio cover, pergola, sunroom or patio enclosure), the roof style and the finish.
- Roof: solid for full shade and rain cover, lattice for filtered light, insulated for a cooler and quieter space, or a louvered (slatted) pergola roof.
- Material: wood grain embossed aluminum from Duralum, extruded aluminum from 4K Aluminum, or a mix of both.
- Attachment: attached to the house or freestanding on its own posts.
- Extras: privacy screens if you want them.
We then price the exact design you pick, so your quote reflects your project, not a generic package.

3. City plan review
Most cities in Orange County review plans for patio covers, sunrooms and enclosures. The rules change from city to city and with the design. Ask about your city’s rules during the design stage so you know what to expect before the build.

4. Build
Once the plans are set, we schedule the build. We let you know what to expect at each stage so you can plan around the work.

5. Walkthrough
When the work is done, we walk the finished space with you. We check the details together, answer your questions and show you how to care for the finish. Aluminum needs little more than an occasional rinse with a hose.

What to have ready when you call
A few details help us give you useful answers on the first call:
- Your address, so we can confirm you are inside our service area.
- A few photos of the patio and the back of the house, taken from a distance.
- A rough size of the area you want covered, even if it is a guess.
- How you plan to use the space and any must haves, like a privacy screen or a louvered roof.
- Any HOA design rules that apply to your home.
No need for drawings or plans. We measure and sketch the options with you during the first visit, then follow up with a quote for the design you choose.
